A Blessing

“A Blessing” By: Trinity Mitts

Each day is a blessing;

with every situation leaving us guessing

whether or not our Lord is still with us.

But we all must have complete trust,

for he is always there, no matter what.

Jesus willingly gave up his life;

though we still feel that stab of a knife,

for every regretted sin we commit.

After begging for forgiveness, they disappear in a flit.

Remember each day is a blessing,

so stop questioning our Lord’s ways.
