Abandoned

In this world where stars twinkle bright,

there is only one person who ever truly understood.

She was there by day and by night,

at least until a major severance came upon us.

She had abandoned this sweet infant in times of adversity,

leaving more than one in great freight.

Leaving them to fight;

to fight with all their might.

All alone, fighting through this thing called life.
